Welcome to the Intrepid Reels website.

Currently this is a pictorial history of the KP Morritt’s Fishing Reels.
If you have any input with regard to dates a reel was manufactured or purchased and their cost or any information from catalogues, price lists or if you worked for, or have knowledge of the factories at Cheam or Falmouth, especially any pictures. Also if you are aware of any reels that I not included in the lists please let us know.  It would be very useful to us all if you could get in touch via the Contact page and I will include the
details that are provided on regular upgrades to the website.

History:

The little I am aware that the KP Morritt Ltd factory was at the Intrepid Works, Cheam, Sutton, Surrey, until 1968 when it moved to Falmouth.
I believe that the Intrepid, and Junior reels may have been made  first, followed by: The Continental,
The Intrepid Deluxe cost 48/0p,The Standard  Cost 38/6p and the Monarch 19/6p. (circa 1960) Followed by
the Supreme and then by many others!!
